EME2040 Journal 1

    Salutations, I am Shanette Bain a Sophomore here at The Florida State University, Majoring in Family and child science with a minor in education. I love to dance, cheer and listen to music. My favorite color is purple, My favorite food(s) are fried shrimp, pizza, chicken wings/tenders and fries. I enjoy shopping and hanging out with my friends. I am big on good vibes and having fun. In all I just love to create memories and long lasting smiles with my loved ones. 

    The prior experience that I have encountered when it comes to an educational setting are just the basics. For example, I am good at making power points and using google to the best of my ability. I am not the most experience but I always seem to find a way that will help benefit me and what I need to get done when it comes to my education. I hope that I can learn more about technology when it comes to an educational setting. Reason being because I feel that it will be beneficial to not only an educational setting but in a professional work place as well.

    Some of my personal learning networks online include : youtube, quizlet for studying and believe it or not Tiktok! As for offline, they include going to study groups with members in my class, acting as if I am reteaching myself the lesson from class and lastly making my own handwritten study guide. Im not a great note taker and have tried everything I can think of but I hope that this class can teach me new ways that can help better my learning experience.
